DANCEOGRAPHY - TATSEENA
"Tatseena has the softness and female power of Elizabeth Taylor, and she even looks like her."
~ Bert Baladine

Student of MEDance
MEDance first intrigued me in the early 70s watching John Compton perform at the Renaissance Faire with Troupe Bal Anat, Jamilla Salimpour's troupe. I signed up for class in 1973 with Natica Angilly. I fell in love with the music and hypnotic movements at that very first class and have never looked back. In recent years, I have studied with Najia El Mouzayen and I classify my style as Arabic, teaching mostly Raks Sharki style movements.

In order to broaden my dance horizons I have studied jazz, ballet, folk dance, and yoga. I participate in workshops by other notable artists whenever possible, MEDance artists such as: Bert Balladine, Najia, Natica, Rhea, Fatima & Jamilla al Wahid, Aneena and many more. Additionally, I have danced and taught private workshops in Egypt, Greece, Europe, and some of the Orient to women of the countries I have visited.

Teacher of MEDance
My yoga and dance teaching career began in 1979 at a holistic health center in Calaveras County, CA and continues now that I have relocated to the SF Bay Area with classes in San Leandro and Dublin, CA. Workshops include:
~Zils: Percussion with Steps
~Saucy sword & Sassy cane
~Hair Raising Tails (Playful use of your hair in dance.)
~Love Your Veil (Magical moves from beginner to pro.)
~Fun with Flutters, Face and Floor
~Fiery Fun with Flames: Candles, Sparklers, and Torches
~Snakes: The Secrets of Serpent Success
~Props for Pros
