^BRIDE JENYA in her 1930'S GARDEN GOWN
Jenya was getting married outside in a meadow, so we chose this vined, floral lace to marry the beautiful texture of her hair tendrils with the wildflowers surrounding their alter. I took this photo at her last fitting, so what you don't see, are the hundereds of bugle beads sewn to the lacy leaves for an all over shimmering impact. She wore it with a lovely chiffon drape. Below: Her bridesmaids wore a Fall Floral Micro-Whale Cororoy that looked like velvet for about 1/3 the price and goes right in the washer! All the bridesmaids reported wearing this dress again, and again!

Thankfully, I can still get into my dress and do so occasionally just to swaddle in all that silk. Still can't belive all those countless hours of gathering, hem rolling and hand stitching were done sans serger!
